When I go sound, it shows that's it's working. Sound & Audio I am posting because I am having trouble getting my 5.1 system to work with my Acer Aspire 7551 laptop the way I want it to. My laptop is connected to my receiver by HDMI, but Realtek HD Audio Manager only supports stereo sound. I have attached a screenshot. Sound only comes out of the front L. Sound & Audio My sound has always been working just fine. I usually had it plugged in the front panel of my Ultra eTorque case and I had the Realtek HD audio driver installed.

Now press on the Remove icon. After this process I restarted the computer and the speed of the laptop improved by at least 20%. Later I removed other trial software and stopped at least 6 programs in the start up section in msconfig. If you have followed my instructions above to remove the program correctly and something has happened then I suggest you contact the manufactureres of this software. Here is the email. The instructions above are pretty standard for removing a program so I am not sure how you got this error.

When you turn on the computer, it goes through the following steps. The BIOS loads all the physical components first. Then the POST does a quick check on all of them to make sure each one is okay. And finally the BOOT loads and starts the Operating System, this of course all happens in just a few quick seconds. To customize the BOOT process, turn on your computer and press the F2 key repeatedly to access the BIOS.

The average color difference, pre-calibration, comes in at 2.4. Using this metric, a lower score is better, while a score under 1.0 is near-perfect. It’s not uncommon for Dell monitors to have mediocre color accuracy out of the box.

Overwatch really made this monitor sing. It pushed the color fidelity and refresh rate to the limit, and the S2417DG never missed a beat. Not a single moment of screen-tearing or ghosting was apparent. The real test, however, came when we tested it with visually darker games like Crysis 3 and Battlefield 4. In dark, rain-slick environments, colors were vivid and blacks were appropriately deep. Even bright lights shown in contrast to dark areas failed to produce any noticeable color aberration or fringing.

FastAccess maintains an extremely high rate of recognition while still providing the accuracy required by hospitals and banks. Tested by millions of users and against standard government databases, FastAccess provides confidence, convenience, security, power savings, and fun. Works with existing webcams.

When prompted, click/tap on Run and Yes ( ). If you like, you can stop getting the Run prompt by the downloaded.bat file. You will now notice your screen flicker as a command prompt quickly opens and closes to apply the registry changes. You can now delete the downloaded.bat file if you like.

It’s worth mentioning that we ran these tests with both our pre- and post-calibration settings. The differences were startling. With factory defaults, Overwatch looked too-bright and washed out, and Battlefield 4 looked dull and drab.

Go to the start menu and choose control panel. Go to Programs and Features or Programs. This is the equivalent of Add or Remove programs in Windows XP. When it is open find the Fast Access software in the list of installed programs. See the screen shot below.

Even this monitor’s larger cousin, the S2716DG, scored a 3.01 with factory settings, and later improved to a 1.23 after calibration. Bill Roberson/Digital Trends Gamma settings were pretty spot on. The monitor scores a 2.2 right out of the box – the sRGB standard. That means images should look as bright as they’re meant to. The contrast at max brightness came in at 500:1, which isn’t great. Coupled with the factory default color inaccuracy, you can start to see why this monitor looks a bit off before calibration.

Also, it could be that your sync settings are preventing autofill information from syncing. Go to Settings > Accounts > Sync your settings, and turn on the Sync settings toggle switch and make sure the Passwords toggle switch is also enabled. I in my Acer Aspire R13. After I upgraded Windows 8.1 to Windows 10, my boot settings got messed up. To investigate the issue, I need to access UEFI firmware settings in Windows 10. Unlike BIOS where you could just enter using F10 or F12 key at the bootup, accessing UEFI settings is not that straight forward. Now, you might wonder how to boot into UEFI settings in Windows 10 and I am going to show you how to do that in this tutorial. Access UEFI firmware settings in Windows 10 Follow the steps below for accessing UEFI settings in Windows 10.

I have had Fast Access for a while now and, while I liked the idea of it and the convenience, it just took too long to recognize me. I’d have to have the light just right and move my head around until it got to just the right angle. The last straw was some sort of glitch or virus where it would turn the camera on randomly. It was kind of creepy, sitting here working and having the camera turn on for 10 or 20 seconds, then turn off. I don’t know if it was a camera thing or Fast Access, so I just disabled the camera and decided to get rid of Fast Access.

For the most part, the factory defaults really do this monitor a disservice. Which is a shame, because otherwise the screen looks fantastic. It’s sharp and clear, even if colors are kind of a mess. After calibration, a different monitor appears Using a colorimeter, we were able to calibrate the monitor and eliminate the worst of the color inaccuracy, but it was still a little off. In order to (mostly) eliminate the washed-out look we had to lower the gamma, brightness, and contrast through desktop software, and then balance it out with the monitor’s own brightness and contrast controls. Post-calibration, things start to look up for our scrappy little S2417DG.

In other words there is no single 'enrollment' that you need to do.it just keeps learning on it's own. Just make sure that the green square is visible around your face when you log in and it should take care of the rest.

I need a recommendation to get my touchpad working or perhaps someonee to donate a wireless laptop that will work with a Networked Windows XP Dell Dimenson 8200 which needs to be updated with my Windows SP2 and after that, SP3. Due to my illness, I stopped being able to get my hardrive backed up (which still needs to be done which (in part) had to do with Norton Internet Security. Since I am almost totally self-taught beginning with DOS at lawfirm that wasn’t networked. Everything else I learned was either coached over the phone by a great Tech Support guy at Packard Bell by the name of Shaun Hoadley who I think is now selling his first edition published prints on ebay. My first home computer was a 480 MB hard drive PB with Windows 3.0 which morphed into Windows for Workgroups (Windows 3.3).

My installation of Win 10 was an upgrade from Win 7 Ultimate. Here are some unofficial timings from a stopwatch. I have a 6 year old HP laptop with 4GB memory and a 512 GB SSD for my system drive. I timed for the shutdown scenarios from the time I hit the power button until the Hello/desktop screen appeared. I also took an intermediate time from when the Windows logo displayed until the Hello/desktop screen appeared. Fast Start feature is enabled on the system.

Maybe you have Windows 10 Home version and NOT windows 10 Pro? I have no idea. I honestly prefer to access UEFI windows at startup using the old fashion method of tapping on F2 on my keyboard or my finger on the ‘delete’ button.

I just bought a Dell XPS 8900 with a single HD, and installed a SanDisk Extreme Pro SSD to be used as the Win 10 boot drive (The SSD has been formatted and is 'seen' by both the UEFI/BIOS and Win 10. Pending figuring out how to set the SSD as the boot drive in the UEFI/BIOS, I have not cloned the existing HD/OS to the SSD) Pressing F12 on startup gets me into the 'BIOS/UEFI' screen, but the UEFI defaults to use the Windows Boot Manager and I cannot figure out how to access the Boot Manager to change the boot drive. I accessed Advanced Options/troubleshooting/UEFI Firmware sub menus, but it displays the same menus. You should be able to set the boot order in the bios. Its horrible on this machine and really unclear but it is possible. I cloned the factory install to the SSD, meaning I had two instances of 'Windows Boot Manager' to choose from as the boot disk. I simply switched their places (not that simple since you cant actually see anything move) and rebooted with fingers crossed.

Also, my 75 year old father got a new Dell and bought Fast Access, which he was pretty excited about, but this newer version was nothing but trouble. He contacted Dell several times trying to set it up and they were giving him really weird directions, like telling him to touch his nose and stuff like that. He abandoned it too. I get what Dell was thinking, it’s a really cool feature/gimmick.if it worked well. There is something that computer manufacturers can learn from software pirates, I don’t know if you are familiar with these pirated versions of windows that are as lean as possible and when installing it you just get a big menu with all these programs and functions and you just check the box of each program that you want. With a little explanation next to it so you can ask yourself “do I really need this?”. It’s nice that they give us these extra features and trials, but don’t force them on us.

After starting up my brand new inspiron 7000 series I downloaded FastAccess as told to by the download prompt. After it installed, I reset my computer to affect the changes. Upon the next start up, the FastAccess program tried to run, but the normal startup did as well, resulting in the two glitching between one another and completely locking me out.

It’s nice that they give us these extra features and trials, but don’t force them on us. • Flick says. I purchased a top spec “Dell Inspiron 23” Touch” computer from Dell about the top of the year& two things infuriate me about it (because it’s supposed to be their flagship model, that’s getting 10 out of 10 in reviews on the web) & those two things are it’s lousy Dell keyboard a piece of rubbish is more what I’d call it, & “Fast Access” a thing so slow & most times that doesn’t work the fellow who came up with the word FAST for it should be prosecuted under the “Trade Descriptions Act”. Now, let me explain, I turn the computer on and this webcam square box looks back at you over your sign in name.

No more remembering passwords or typing them on small screens.

Click on Restart button and this will actually restart your system and boot you straight in UEFI settings. This is what you needed to do to access UEFI firmware settings in Windows 10. Now you will need to restart your computer, once you do these things mentioned above, if after restart you still see the Fast Access Face Recognition icon at windows login screen, then to get rid of this feature you will need to uninstall the related software from your computer as shown in the image below. For this you will need to launch add remove programs which is Programs and Features under control panel as shown in the image below. Find the program entry with name face recognition and the Publisher name will be sensible vision.

I apologize for any inconvenience and would like to work directly with you to trouble shoot any issues. FastAccess is specifically desinged to be VERY lightweight and highly functional (it’s actually a premium paid option on all but the higher end Dell systems).

$11.99 The Dell S2417DG retails for $500, but you can find it for a little less if you shop around. The larger, aforementioned Dell S2716DG and Asus PG279Q retail for around $800, or a little lower if you do some digging. Is there a better alternative?

I have an almost new Dell XPS-17 L702X laptop with Realtek Audio. I'm running Win 7 Ultimate SP1 x64 on it. If I choose to customize my taskbar and place the Realtek Icon on the taskbar it disappears after a few seconds. The only way to access it is to go to my C Drive, Program Files, Realtek and manually open it from there. The Realtech icon then appears on the taskbar; however, if you hover the cursor over the icon for one or two seconds it disappears. If I'm lucky enough to open the Sound Manager application before the icon disappears I must right click on it and select 'Open'. It cannot be opened by a left single click or double click.

• Under Update and Security, choose Recovery option. Then you will see the Advance Startup on the right partition of the screen. And click on Restart now Button.

• You can only upload photos smaller than 5 MB. • You can only upload videos smaller than 600MB. • You can only upload a photo (png, jpg, jpeg) or a video (3gp, 3gpp, mp4, mov, avi, mpg, mpeg, rm). • You can only upload a photo or a video. • Video should be smaller than 600mb/5 minutes • Photo should be smaller than 5mb • You can only upload a photo.

This is basically the firmware option you can choose to boot your device. Legacy is the oldest firmware for Operating Systems that will work with the MBR file format (Master Boot Record). UEFI stands for Unified Extensible Firmware Interface which speeds up the boot process but also protects the Operating System. It prevents a new system from being installed over the original factory installation and it is not possible to create other partitions in this mode. WTF so, it says I have UEFI, but I don’t have UEFI I have “launch recovery environment”? There’s no way that refers to UEFI what are you trying to even say? Why would “enter BIOS to change settings and troubleshoot” be updated to make it sound like its just there to recover Windows? I’m not doing this to recover windows, I’m doing this to enable virtualization.

By the way, this is my seond email to you on this topic as the first one was sent before I finished it because of the Touchpad’s sensitivity. Perviously, I was working with my Attorney since my Mother passed away last October when somehow my eails were being either sent before I had a chance to edit them down to a concise amount of words or at least 2 or sometimes 3 copies of the same email was sent to my Attorney (at $450/hr.) and I am still trying to catch up to pay for all of the emails that were sent and read by his secretary. I had to stop emailing him and now without any record of what I said or what he said, we are not corresponding. Unfortunately, I have chronic pain (24/7) and I am also am homebound most of the time unless I have a doctor’s appointment.
