In this case the drm has been removed from the base game but the dlc maps are still locked behind a constant internet connection. It is a start and hopefully they will bring the dlc in line with the base game so that 100% of the game is playable offline instead of 80%. I am not sure about the status concerning the dlc that are not maps. Will find out after the game is finished downloading and installed.

It feels great to stick to my guns and not support a practice that deliberately punishes paying customers. If more people was willing to not purchase any of the products ubisoft released with this draconian drm, this crap would of been fazed out long ago along with 'preorder bonuses'that include content that should of just been put in the ♥♥♥♥ing game in the first place, day-one dlc and online passes(Project Ten-Dollar by those ♥♥♥♥ers at EA).
